I enjoyed this “mini” project more than I thought I would. I have never been someone who has worked with music before, it always seemed so overwhelming. However, I really liked the simplicity of this sound. Not much was changed from my original idea. The scene starts off with a girl walking into a coffee shop and as she sits down and starts writing, she starts to drown out the hectic noise from the coffee shop. As she starts writing she gets transformed into her writing and starts to hear distant seagulls. As she makes her way outside, she gets transported to the beach. A majority of the sounds I used were peaceful and quiet. I really wanted to capture the serenity of the beach and the “zone” someone could get into while they write. I had fun creating this and transporting myself into a calm state while creating this sound.
